Sixth Special train leaves Mohali Railway Station for Chhapra in Bihar

Carries 1201 migrants back home, Migrant children given chocolates by District Administration

The Sixth Special train today left the Mohali Railway Station for Chhapra in Bihar carrying the 1201 migrant workers back to their home state.In a warm gesture by the District  Administration, the children of the migrant workers were also distributed chocolates.The migrants were taken to the railway station from the 8 collection centres where they were  first thoroughly screened and then boarded the buses to reach the railway station for journey back home. The District Administration provided packed food packets, water besides  biscuits to the migrants who expressed deep sense of gratitude for facilitating their safe journey home to their home state by cheering and clapping loudly.Meanwhile, a total of  seven buses also departed today carrying 160 students. One bus left for Ladakh while six buses left for Jammu.
