MP from Shri Anandpur Sahib, Manish Tewari has said that the Punjab government is doing everything possible in the fight against Corona, for which health department teams are constantly working with the help of administration and police.Discussion was held the with senior and former members of Congress, Youth Congress and NSUI in connection with the ongoing efforts and problems faced by local level and various states and Union Territories in the fight against Corona infection was done. Video conferencing also included leaders from the states of western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and the union territory apart from Punjab.In this sequence, MP Tewari mentioned the work being done by the Punjab government to prevent corona in the state and to provide relief to the people.Tewari told about the Nawanshehr falling in Shri Anandpur Sahib Lok Sabha constituency, that the first cases of corona infection had come here and once the district was freed of corona by the Health Department with the help of administration and police. He said that every effort is being made by the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Captain Amarendra Singh in the fight against Corona from day one. Health department, administration and police teams are working day and night who are also getting full support of the panchayats and social organizations of the villages.
During this, Tewari assured that the problem concerning the shortage of PPE kits would be resolved soon.
