District Development Commissioner Dr Sagar D Doifode conducted extensive tour of Thathri and Gandoh sub divisions and took stock of the facilities being provided to the inmates quarantined at various quarantine centres established by the District Administration.DDC informed that near about 1000 persons who were stranded outside J&K during the lock down restrictions have returned back to the district and they have been quarantined in their respective jurisdictions for their convenience.He said that district administration has established Community kitchens at both the locations which are providing three time nutritious and hygienic meal to all the inmates quarantined in different locations in these areas.During inspection, DDC directed the concerned officers to ensure hygienic meal to all the inmates, besides maintaining cleanliness in and around the quarantine facilities and community kitchens.DDC also visited the newly established sample collection booth. BMO Bhaderwah informed the DDC that today 130 samples have been collected and will ensure 100% Collection by tomorrow positively.DDC also interacted with the deputed staff of health department and enquired about the issues, if any, regarding sample collection and assured all kind of help to the frontline functionaries who are working day and night tirelessly in the fight against Covid-19.DDC directed the officers of police and security to ensure that there shall be no violation of ongoing lock down restrictions and appeals all the people to follow Social Distancing and to continue better coordination with the administration for their security and safety.
