Aiming at resolve all the issues of children during COVID-19 induced Curfew/Lockdown, the Punjab Government today appointed Vice-Chairperson and four Non Official members of the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.Disclosing this here today, Punjab Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Aruna Chaudhary said that the state government is fully committed to protect the rights of children at any cost during all circumstances. She said that the government today appointed Vice-Chairperson and four Non Official members of the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.Mrs. Chaudhary informed that Mr. Sebi Thomas S/o Mr. Thomas Kunnappally appointed as Vice-Chairperson, besides this Mrs. Jyoti Thakur W/o Mr. Ravinder Singh, Mr. Ravee Singh Ahluwalia S/o Mr. Harbaksh Singh, Mr. Rimple Midha S/o Mr. Raj Kumar Midha and Mrs. Ranjana D/o Ravinder Kumar assigned the task as members of the Commission.She said that the term of Vice Chairperson and Non Official Members will be for a period of three years from the date of assuming the charge of the post. The terms and conditions will be applicable as per the Rules notified by the State Government under the Commission for Protection of Child Rights Act 2005.
