Golden Arrow Division has always been at the forefront of Civil Military liaison and has made significant contribution to the development of the Garrison, alongwith the civil agencies. The Civil Administration alongwith the Doctors, Nurses, Policemen and other Health Workers and Conservancy Staff are spearheading the Nation’s fight against the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic and rendering a great humanitarian service of the highest order. Ferozepur has been successful in controlling the widespread effects of the pandemic with the untiring and relentless efforts of the above mentioned staff.As part of Indian Army’s campaign to show solidarity with the corona warriors, Golden Arrow Division organised a Military Band Display at Civil Hospital, Ferozepur and Serenity Park. The band cheered the Health Workers and Police staff with tunes like ‘Saare Jahan Se Achha’, ‘Kadam Kadam Badhaye Ja’ and ‘Veer Bahadur’, to express the gratitude towards Corona Warriors, on behalf of the Armed Forces, and the Nation as a whole. Sweets were shared and petals were showered on the Corona Warriors, to honour them. A similar event was also organised at the historic Saragarhi Memorial Gurudwara at Ferozepur Cantt, to compliment the Corona Warriors, and the local population, for the support in the fight against the pandemic. The events marked the acknowledgement of the personal sacrifices made by these Covid Warriors and law enforcement agencies as also an occasion to remind the citizens of our country to take a solemn pledge, of extending unconditional support to these Warriors in combating the global pandemic, together.
