LG Mathur grants 40k from LG Relief Fund to patients outside Ladakh

In the wake of COVID-19 pandemic, a generous amount of money was donated by the people of Ladakh and from outside in the LG relief fund to support UT Administration fight the pandemic and help the needy people during the lockdown.The Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Shri R.K. Mathur has approved a grant of financial assistance to the tune of Rs.40,000 from the LG Relief Fund, Rs.10000 each to four patients namely Tsewang Norboo, Norbu Tashi, Nawang Dolma and Lobzang Chotak who are undergoing medical treatment in Delhi in various hospitals.The Lt. Governor has thanked the people of Ladakh and other donors for their support and contribution in the LG Relief Fund. He said that this fund will be used to provide financial assistance to the needy patients and financially distressed students stuck outside Ladakh during the lockdown. This fund is also being used to produce face masks in large quantities in both Kargil and Leh districts, added LG Mathur.
