The Deputy Commissioner, Shopian Chaudhary Mohammed Yasin, appreciated the District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Shopian, Sardar Gurmukh Singh who donated a cheque amounting Rs. 10,000, a part of his salary, to district Red Cross Fund for Covid 19 efforts. While receiving the cheque, in presence of Additional Dy. Commissioner and other officials in his office chamber the DC said we are all vulnerable to this disease which is why we are in this together and we all should not only remain safe but should help those who have limited resource to sustain through this crisis.On the occasion, the District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Shopian said that sweeping lockdowns have prevented daily wage workers from being able to feed their families and it is our collective responsibility to help them during these difficult times.
