In a major Development Two Jaish Militant Associates were arrested by Shopian police near wachi Zainapora area today.Sources told that two youth Zahoor Ahmad Koka of Mailhora, and Uzair Ahmad of Wandina Zainpora were apprehended by Forces for allegedly carrying weapons.in a statement issued by Shopian police read as In continuation to its drive against militancy, shopian police along with 55RR and CRPF 178 Bn apprehended two terrorist associates of jaish outfit who were planning to attack SF deployment near wachi shopian.Today on 20th April, specific information was received by police shopian about movement of two terrorist associates of jem outfit who are planning to attack Security force deployment,a naka was immediately established near wachi petrol pump.while observing naka two suspects tried to flee from spot but deployed nafri of police shopian,55RR and crpf 178 overpowered both the suspects and were detained.During their frisking a pistoland two grenades were recovered from their possession.They were planning to attack naka party deployed at wachi which remains deployed their for implementation of Lockdown.During preliminary investigation both the accused claimed themselves as terrorist associates of Jem outfit and they were provided arms and ammunition recently.In this connection Fir no.27/2020 of ps zainpora u/s 18,20,23,38,39 ula p act,7/25 IAA stands registered and further investigation taken up.
