The District after a gap of 2 days today saw the emergence of four corona virus positive cases. This was disclosed here today by the Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan.Divulging more, he said that all the four cases are the immediate family of the PGI employee from Nayagaon who had already tested positive. The DC also disclosed that out of the four found positive today, 3 are females with 60 years, 26 years and 1 month of age while the fourth one is a 19 year old male. Out of these four, 2 have been admitted to PGI and the other two at Gian Sagar Hospital.The area near the family household and the Nayagaon itself has been sealed. Apart from this, door to door survey is also being carried out.With today's four cases, the total number of positive cases has reached 61.It is also important to mention that out of the 919 samples taken so far, 838 have been found negative while the results of 20 are awaited.Divulging details about the quarantine persons, he said that as of now, a total of 562 persons have completed their quarantine period while 1986 persons are currently undergoing quarantine period.
