Punjab education minister Vijay Inder Singla, on Friday, held a meeting with DPIs, DEOs, Deputy DEOs and DIET principals along with other top officials of education department through video conferencing from local Multipurpose School. While presiding over the meeting, the education minister told that soon he will also have similar meetings with block level officials and principals of all government schools to motivate them to introduce new learning techniques. Mr. Singla said that he has directed the department officials to keep the students engaged in an entertaining manner to make them learn community activities through modern techniques.Education Minister said that the spread of coronavirus have spoiled precious time of students and teachers as well and now we have aimed to use this period for introspection. He added that as the students are not able to join the schools, the education department has decided to polish their skills with the help of new media.Mr. Vijay Inder Singla also congratulated newly promoted officers of the education department and appealed them to enhance their capability by introducing new techniques in their respective districts including new media. He said that to improve the intellect level of government school students, all the teachers will also have to strengthen and polish their teaching skills.
