District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode today conducted an extensive tour of Thathri, Gandoh areas and inspected facilities at various quarantine centers established by district administration in view of Covid-19.During the tour, the DDC visited newly established 150 bedded quarantine facilities at Ex-Servicemen School Thathri, besides he also inspected quarantine facilities at PHC Malanoo and newly created quarantine facilities at KV Gandoh and other medical facilities put in place by the health department there.DDC also interacted with BDC Chairman's and Various PRI members. The PRIs, BDCs extended gratitude to the district administration for effectively dealing the Covid-19. They also highlighted some important issues including issue of labourers of Doda district stranded at different locations in the country, to allow milk suppliers for movement etc.DDC informed that district administration has already started outreach initiative in this regard and also established a control room under the supervision of CEO BDA who is taking care of every representation of stranded labourers with utmost priority.The DDC has asked the Police officials to allow the milk suppliers in the area without hampering the lockdown restrictions.
Besides, the DDC informed them that for the convenience of the general public across the district, district administration has started 24×7 tele medicine service under a team of doctors, people can contact them and get the online consultation, besides slew of measures were also taken which includes online registration for passes, distribution of ration among destitute etc.Later, the DDC visited Government Food Store Bhatyas and inspected the availability of ration and also reviewed the status of distribution. TSO inform that sufficient stock is available there and is being accordingly distributed in the area.Interacting with the staff of health, Para medics, Police and other officials of civil administration, DDC appreciated them for working day and night in the service of general public. He ensure them that district administration will provide every possible support and is already taking care of the safety measures for the field functionaries with utmost priority.The DDC Doda was accompanied by BDC Chairpersons of the concerned blocks, SDM Thathri, SDM Gandoh, DySP DAR Doda, SDPO Gandoh, Tehsildar Thathri, Kahara, Gandoh, BMO Thathri, Gandoh, BDO's, Agriculture Officer, and other health officials.
