Keeping in view the curfew lockdown in the State, Governor Bandaru Dattatraya has asked to provide monthly financial assistive and one month's ration to the non-registered workers in the State.Bandaru Dattatraya during a meeting with the Additional Chief Secretary of Social Justice and Empowerment Department at Raj Bhawan today said that keeping in view the current lockdown in the state, arrangements should be made to provide monthly financial assistance and one month's ration to the non-registered workers in the state.In a meeting with Additional Chief Secretary ( SJ&E) Nisha Singh at Raj Bhawan today, the Governor said that the data of the non-registered workers and non-registered contractors should be maintained and efforts should be made to organize camps for non-registered workers. He said that arrangements should be made for migrant workers who want to go back to their state by the end of lockdown. He urged that labourers should not be removed from industries and for this the social justice and empowerment department should coordinate with the industries department.Shri Dattatraya said that the services of ESIC dispensaries in the state should be increased so that more and more labourers could be benefited.Additional Chief Secretary Nisha Singh apprised the Governor about various activities being undertaken of the social justice and empowerment department during the lockdown period.Secretary to the Governor Rakesh Kanwar was also present on the occasion.
