District Magistrate Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today appealed to people of the district to download and install the Arogya Setu application in their mobile phones which is developed by the Ministry of electronics and IT to contain the spread of novel Corona virus.Arogya Setu application has designed to keep a user informed in case he/she has crossed paths with someone who has tested positive. The tracking is done through a bluetooth and location generated social graph which shows user interaction with anyone who has tested positive.Moreover, it has a tool for self testing. The user is asked to answer number of questions, in case some of the answer suggests Covid-19 symptoms, the information will be sent to a government server. The data will then help the government to take timely steps and initiate the isolation procedure, if necessary.After installing the application, people have to switch on the bluetooth and locations of their mobiles and have to keep it on every time.In this regard, people are appealed to download Aarogya Setu application and help India and the district win the fight against COVID 19.
