Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, R.K. Mathur was called upon by President Ladakh Gonpa Association (LGA), Geshe Shedup Chamba and President Ladakh Buddhist Association (LBA), P. T. Kunzang at Raj Niwas today.The delegation thanked the UT Administration, Hill Council, Health and Police Department for their efforts in mitigating the threat of COVID-19 in the region. They assured full support in educating people about the pandemic and help in providing other requirements in future.The delegation also highlighted the issue of stranded patients and pilgrims outside Ladakh and urged the Lt. Governor for their early evacuation as per the guidelines of Government of India. They also appreciated the launch of Ladakh Connect website and facilitating the Ladakhis staying outside to be in direct touch with the Administration.
