The Governor also contributed Rs.2,44,500 towards H.P. COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund to Chief Minister, on the occasion.The Governor also apprised the President of India Ram Nath Kovind about the status and steps taken by the State Government regarding COVID-19 in the State.The Governor has also greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti. In his message, he said that the teaching of Lord Mahavira's Nobel of non-violence, truth and renunciation are relevant even today. We should follow his teachings for spreading peace, love and harmony in the society, he added.The Governor also convened a meeting with officers of the Raj Bhavan regarding coronavirus and directed to coordinate with the State Administration in dealing with COVID-19.
