The Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh today had a video call conversation with the Sarpanch of Balongi village Bahadur Singh in order to take feedback to know the issues being faced by the public in view of the curfew restrictions and COVID-19 pandemic. The Chief Minister also took stock of the relief operations being undertaken by the State Government at the grassroots level in this hour of distress. The President of the Jat Mahasabha Delhi and social worker Deepika Deswal, who is serving the people in rural areas, arranged the conversation of the Chief Minister with the Sarpanch of the village. She said that her aim is to help the people in dire straits in this hour of crisis apart from ensuring the direct connect of the Chief Minister with the common people which would act as a huge morale booster for the latter to face the situation with courage. This eminent social worker also distributed ration to the people at balongi village besides helping with the Sanitization work. Before this, she has undertaken such work in the villages of Moga.
