After due pursuance from the District Development Commissioner, Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode, two ventilators have been successfully installed today at Associated Hospital GMC Doda taking the total capacity of 08 ventilators in the district.It is pertinent to mention 3 days ago the district administration had coordinated the supply and required funds were placed at the disposal of health department to procure and installed the ventilators within the fixed timeline in coordination with the Health Department.After the due pursuance the ventilators were transported from outside J&K on priority basis in coordination with the J&K Government.Speaking with media persons, the DDC said that with the installation of these ventilators the district has augmented its current capacity to effectively deal with the COVID-19 cases if any in the district.
