The district saw 2 more corona virus positive cases surfacing in the district. These two had attended a religious congregation in Delhi. Their contacts are being traced. The two persons belong to Kumbhra near Sector-68 and village Mauli Baidwan (since sealed). Both have been hospital quarantined at Gyan Sagar. Both the areas are under Sanitization and Cleaning and full quarantine protocol is being followed.Disclosing this here today, the DC Girish Dayalan further said that apart from this, village Alamgir near Lalru has also been sealed as a precautionary measure because approximately 15 people from Ambala Cantt area attended the congregation at Village Alamgir. One of those has been found Covid-19 positive yesterday at PGIMER, Chandigarh. Out of these 15 families, 10 have been home quarantined. Besides this, the 48 samples of the contacts of the Jagatpura positive case, have been found negative while the results of three samples are awaited. Furthermore, the 14 samples of the contacts of other positive cases have also been found negative while the results of 5 more are awaited.
