Extending a helping hand in support of the daily wagers in this time of crisis where the entire nation is facing a lockdown to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran volunteered to supply cooked meals in the neighboring villages. The food was prepared in the college mess and was distributed to the needy near the Landran main chowk and in Sky Rock City, Mohali. Considering it as the institution’s social responsibility to reach out to the underprivileged sections of the society, more than 200 packed meals were given to the daily wagers and their families during the distribution drive which will continue to provide food in other nearby villages amid the 21-day lockdown.
