District Development Commissioner, (DDC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhatalong with team of officers today visited various quarantine centers across Kulgam—which were established for suspected Covid-19 patients.During his visit DDC visited Administrative quarantine centre which has been established at government Degree College Kulgam and took a detailed report about the arrangements which have been put in place at this administrative quarantine centre.He also visited other buildings which could be utilized for quarantine centers which includes Gujjar Bakerwal hostel,GNM college etc.Chief Medical Officer briefed the DDC about the arrangements which are in place to tackle COVID-19. The DDC asked the concerned officials to work with dedication and ensure all the facilities are made available at quarantine centers.He asked them to take all precautionary measures to contain the spread of infection.He appealed people to adhere to the advisories issued by the Health Services in letter and spirit to contain spread of COVID-19.During his visit, he was accompanied by ADC,Shabir Hussain, ACR, Mir Imtiyaz, CMO, Fazil Kochak and other officers.
