COVID 19: DC inspects medical stores in Doda town to check availability of safety items

Deputy Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode along with a team of civil and police officers today inspected medical stores here across the Doda Township to check the availability of masks and sanitizers in the market to meet the public demand for preventing the spread of CoronaVirus. While interacting with the owners of medical shops, the DC enquired about the availability of anti Infection substances, masks and hand sanitizers. He asked them to aware the people about the use of other anti Infection substances like betadine solution, Doctor’s Spirit,  liquid soap and hand-washers etc.He further asked them to sensitise the people coming to their shops about various preventive measures that need to be taken to avert infection and advise the people to consult to the doctor if anyone has flu like symptoms, including cough, fever and shortness of breath.Meanwhile, the DDC also distributed awareness pamphlets highlighting various preventive measures among the people and asked them to aware others in their areas so that the spread of Coronavirus is  prevented in the district.
