District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today visited Regional Transformer Repair workshop at Old Power House premises, Ganderbal to take stock of its functioning.The DDC was accompanied by Executive Engineers, PDD Ganderbal and other concerned.The DDC inspected assemble section, winding and rewinding sections of the workshop. Seeking details about the capacity of the workshop for repairing damaged transformers, the DDC was informed that five to six damaged transformers are repaired in a day in the workshop.The DDC asked the Executive Engineer to take all necessary measures to augmentation the repairing capacity of the workshop so that damaged transformers are repaired within a shortest possible time.
