As a precautionary measure to avert any kind of eventuality in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr G N Itoo today carried a special fumigation drive during which public places including hospitals, government offices and other places of public importance were cleaned and sprayed with the disinfectants.DC also launched a massive sanitation drive wherein several places of vital public importance were cleaned.Pertinently, district administration Baramulla has launched a special sanitation drive in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak so that all the places of public importance are being cleaned as a precautionary measure.Meanwhile, four violators who have placed heaps of garbage on the roadsides in Choora village were booked under the relevant provisions.On the occasion, DC issued strict warning to the violators and said that necessary legal action shall be initiated against all such persons.Moreover, DC said that necessary screening centres have been established at all the railway stations where the passengers are being screened.
