District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode today convened a meeting of officers and officials of Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department to review the functioning of department in the district.The meeting was attended by Assistant Director FCS&CA Doda, TSOs besides other concerned officers.While reviewing the adhaar seeding of beneficiaries and ration cards, DDC directed to speed up the process and ensure 100% progress. He asked the Assistant Director to fix the targets so that 100% coverage can be achieved across the districts.DDC stressed upon to delete discrepancies in the data which includes duplicate beneficiaries in same ration card with same adhaar number, inter-state duplicate beneficiaries (enrolled at more than one place).He further asked the AD FCS&CA to share the relevant data with all the TSOs so that the duplicity if any shall be deleted timely. He also directed them to issue notice in print and electronic media regarding interstate duplicity of ration cards under which beneficiaries shall be asked to delete their ration card at one place within 7 days and NOC shall be submitted in the concerned office, otherwise their ration card will be deleted without any notice.
