Two LET (Lashkar -e-Toiba) militants were killed in Khawjapora Reben Village of South Kashmir's Shopian district on Monday.Reports reaching to 5 Dariya news that Two LET militants were killed in fierce gunfight which broke out at Reban village of Shopian after exchange of fire was reported between militants and govt forces in early hours.Sources told, that after received specific inputs about presence of militants in the area joint team of forces including Army,Crpf and J&K Police laid search in the village.As the forces reached towards suspected spot militants fired on forces triggered Gunfight, ends with the killing on two LET militants.A Police official told that two dead bodies were recovered at Gunfight site identified Shabir Ah Malik R/o Tungdunoo, District Kulgam & Amir Ah Dar R/o Melhura, Dist Anantnag.He further added, that AK 47 with UBGL and 01 magazine, Pistol with 01 magzine was recovered from their possession.Kashmir police zone Tweeted, Read as Shopian Encounter Concluded: Two militants affiliated with proscribed terror outfit LeT killed, involved in terror crimes & civilian atrocities. Arms & ammunition recovered. Srinagar based Defence spokesperson told that in Reban Shopian operation Two militants were killed.
