Rattan Cherub Foster school ,Sector -78,Airport Road Sohana, Mohali organized Annual Sports Day for classes Kindergarten to 3rd class on March 7 th 2020. All students participated in the customized and fun filled track and field events.The program began with the welcome ceremony of the chief guest Ms. Khila thakur international Handball player and Dr. Safri Lal, international host and guide of resettling.The chairman shri s.l.Aggarwal ,member of managing committee Mrs .Sangeeta Agarwal and Principal of school Mrs. AmarJyoti Sharma welcomed the guests with bouquets .The Sports day was inaugurated by releasing balloons and beautifully decorated placard bearing the school’s name and motto by the chief guests ,guests of honor and the principal .there were several sports events such as rabbit race ,Three leg Race ,Acrobat Race ,Balacing Race and Relay Race were held and all the winners get medals and certificate . At end of the event delicious lunch was served to all. Principal mrs.Amarjyoti Sharma said that participation in sports can help the children to build their self esteem ,confidence and also it can even teach children the ways and benefits of goal setting and practice. In the block race, Ananya took first place, Sundar got second and Pranab took third place. In the balancing race, Harneet Singh took first, Vishal second and Simranjit Kaur took third place. Similarly, in the Acrobat Race, Arya took first place, beautifully second and Prabhjot third. The winning students were honored with trophies and medals at the end of the program.
