"The budget presented by the State Government recently has taken care of every section of the society especially youth as with the reducing of the retirement age from 60 to 58 years would give ample scope of employment to the younger section of the society."These views were expressed here today by the Health and Family Welfare Minister, Punjab, Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu at village Bakarpur on the occasion of inaugurating the smart room equipped with all the modern technology in school building in the village.He also appreciated the role played by the village Sarpanch Jagtar Singh and the other prominent people of the village.Mr. Sidhu also handed over a cheque of Rs. 4,60,000 for carrying out the development centric initiatives in the village. He further elaborated that the budget has also catered to providing educational, healthcare amenities to the common masses of Punjab. He also said that the budget represents the visionary approach of the State Government. The minister on the occasion also inaugurated the boundary wall of the village cremation ground. Among other dignitaries present on the occasion included the Political Secretary to Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu ----Harkesh Chand Sharma Machhli Kalan, Sarpanch of village Bakarpur Jagtar Singh, Panches Hari Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Balwinder Singh and Ajaib Singh, Sarpanch of village Nadiali Gurwinder Singh, Ramandeep Singh Sarpanch of Shafipur, Harjit Singh Dhillon Sarpanch Rurka, Amar Singh, Zaildar Singh, Sukhdev Singh Ballu and Ranjit Singh Ballu.
