Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza today made a surprise visit to CHC Chuntimulla in Bandipora district to take stock of medical facilities being provided to the patients.During the visit, the DDC visited different sections and wards of the hospital and took stock of the facilities available in the hospital. He also checked the attendance of the staff presently and stressed on them to ensure punctuality. Interacting with the patients, the DDC enquired about the availability of medicines and other facilities in the hospital. He directed the hospital administration to take necessary measures for improving the sanitation and patient care services at the hospital.On the occasion, locals interacted with the deputy commissioner and informed him about the problems being faced by them with regard to basic amenities. DC gave patient hearing to the people and assured redressal of their grievances.Later, the DDC also visited Higher Secondary Chuntimulla and interacted with the teachers and the students. He also took stock of the teaching learning process and the infrastructure available in the school. Enroute, DC Bandipora interacted with several delegations at Sumlar, Arin, Dardpora, Konan and Madder. The delegations apprised DC about their problems. DC passed on-spot directions for redressal of their grievances. He also inspected various developmental projects and asked the executing agencies to expedite the work with the improvement in weather so that same can be completed at earliest.
