Considering the emerging threat of COVID-19 generally known as Coronavirus, Resident Commissioner Punjab Bhawan Mrs. Rakhee Gupta Bhandari today held a meeting with officials of various departments posted at Punjab Bhawan to sensitize them to adopt precautions to keep them safe from COVID-19.``Though the situation was not so alarming in India but we should be alert. We all should take precautions to keep ourselves and others safe from this virus. We should be careful and maintain highest standards of hygiene like washing hands regularly, avoiding close contact with people etc.``, said Mrs Bhandari.During the meeting Doctors from health department posted at Punjab Bhawan, instructed all the officials and employees of various departments that if any person having symptoms of fever, cough, running nose, difficulty in breathing then should report to and consult medical experts. They further advised to adopt precautions. Resident Commissioner also directed the concerned authorities to provide Sanitizers at reception desks and sensitize all the employees serving at Punjab Bhawan. RC also instructed the officials to paste DOs and DONTs at reception desks to sensitize all the visitors also. RC further instructed the engineering wing to disinfect the entire Punjab Bhawan Campus.
