Vice Chairperson J&K Khadi & Village Industries Board Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat chaired Bankers Meet of Anantnag and Kulgam districts, here today to review the implementation of various schemes of the Board.The DDC Anantnag, Bashir Ahmad Dar, General Manager DIC Anantnag, Peerzada Zahoor Ahmad, Deputy CEO KVIB Kashmir Division Muzaffar Alaqband, KVIB Executive Officers of Anantnag and Kulgam, LDMs of Anantnag & Kulgam, Cluster Heads of J&K Bank Anantnag & Kulgam districts, Director RSETIs Anantnag & Kulgam and other concerned attended the meeting.Threadbare discussions with regard to better implementation of the schemes of KVIB and clearing of bottle necks if any at various levels were held in the meeting.On the occasion, the Vice Chairperson stressed the officers of KVIB and Bankers to implement the schemes of the Board in letter and spirit and expedite the process of sending cases to various banks so that the beneficiaries are benefited in time and job avenues created.  She asked the officers and bankers to go through the guidelines thoroughly and make the scheme people friendly.The VC asked the bankers to work in coordination with KVIB to ensure cent percent implementation of KVIB schemes. She asked for timely completion of all the formalities to benefit the youth for establishing their income generating units at an earliest, besides holding of DLTFC meetings after every 15 days.The VC also asked the officers to avoid conducting written tests and interviews of the applicants for establishing their units under PMEGP, PMREGP and other schemes, instead simple interactions should be done with the applicants to make them feel helped as all the applicants need not to be necessarily high qualified for applying under the said schemes, adding that such an approach will encourage the unemployed youth to establish their income generating units in time.The DDC Anantnag on the occasion asked the bankers to clear all the pendencies of PMEGP & PMREGP within 15 days.He added that KVIB has a great potential to generate employment avenues in the district. He stressed the concerned to aware the youth about various income generating schemes of KVIB.
