The Health and Family Welfare Minister, Punjab, Balbir Singh Sidhu inaugurated the Kashmiri Youth Exchange Program being organized by the Nehru Yuva Kendra, Mohali with the active assistance of Union Home Ministry at the Rashtriya Yuva Sansthan.In his address on the occasion, Mr. Sidhu said that such initiatives are instrumental in providing a golden chance to the youth for learning about the culture and traditions of each others' state and go a long way in strengthening democracy. The 126 Kashmiri youth including both boys and girls from six districts namely Anantnag, Baramulla, Kupwara, Srinagar, Pulwama and Budgam .On the occasion, the Additional Chief Secretary, Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Sports Mr. Hussan Lal briefed the Kashmiri youth about the history, and culture of Punjab.
