Governor Bandaru Dattatraya visited the College of Excellence, Government Degree College, Sanjauli in Shimla today and held discussions on various topics with the students.On this occasion, the Governor said that “knowledge is power” and special attention should be paid to personality development to increase this power. He added sports and allied activities could be helpful for physical strength and if the body was healthy, a person would be strong intellectually. Similarly, we could increase concentration of our mind by participating in activities like yoga and meditation, he advised. He appealed to adopt a positive outlook in life, ensure the correct use of technology and avoid bad habits. He asked the students to read books of great personalities and focus on skill development.Earlier, the Principal of the college, Dr C.B Mehta welcomed the Governor and informed him about the academic activities of the college. He also presented a set of books to the Governor.During the deliberations, the Governor asked many questions to the students and the students also inquired about the life of the Governor.
