Governor Bandaru Dattatraya said that the identity of our country is from National language Hindi, which is the soul of our country. Bandaru Dattatraya was addressing in the closing ceremony of 72nd Conference and Symposium session of the Hindi Sahitya Sammelan.Bandaru Dattatraya said that National language of a country is the identity of the country. Hindi being the identity of India, it is an important part of our country, as no country can move forward without its cultural and linguistic identity. He said that Hindi yet has to make its place in the country and for this everyone will have to make collective efforts. It is the our duty to promote our national language. He said that it is also necessary to learn English, but we must not forget our official language.Governor said that Hindi is being widely publicised all over the world and Hindi language is prevalent in more than 132 countries of the world. He said that Hindi cinema has made important contribution in it. He said that there are more than 10 thousand words in Hindi.He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emerged as a messenger of Hindi in the world. He said 'The influence of Hindi is also increasing in South Indian states'. He urged the officials of the Hindi Sahitya Sammelan to provide him with the written information of suggestions and decisions related to the Hindi language received in this three-day conference.Former Chief Minister Shanta Kumar said that Hindi is our National language and should be adopted in our daily activities. Hindi is our pride and it is our duty to save our pride, he added. He said that he would urge the Prime Minister that Hindi should get its position in the United Nations.Governor Bandaru Dattatraya honoured Senior litterateur Shanta Kumar, Som Thakur, Madhav Kaushik, Jai Prakash and Yoghendra Nath Sharma with the highest title of Sahitya Vachaspati Samman during Hindi Sahitya Sammelan.He also honoured wife of Shanta Kumar, Santosh Shailaja, Former Director of Language, Art and Culture Dr. Prem Sharma and other dignitaries in the Sammelan.
