District Development Commissioner, Budgam, Tariq Hussain Ganai today convened a meeting of officers to review functioning of Education department in the district.The meeting was attended by CEO, Fatima Tak, ZEOs, Principals, Headmasters and other concerned. Speaking on the occasion, the DDC directed the concerned to work with dedication to provide quality education to students.Stressing on holding special classes on Sundays for the weak students, the DDC stressed for providing sports related facilities and involving students in extra- curriculum activities.Stressing on maintenance of discipline at educational institutions, the DC directed Principals to ensure students attend their classes in proper uniforms and do not use cell phones inside school premise.Emphasizing on conducting of co-curricular activities at all education institutions, the DC asked concerned to involve students in sports, cultural and adventurous activities to boost them for more and more learning.
