Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today inaugurated Virtual Class Room facility at Vallabh Government Degree College Mandi to facilitate the students in getting better education. Chief Minister also interacted with the teachers and students of Kotli, Dharampur, Lambathach, Thachi, Nihri and D ehar Colleges through Virtual Class Rooms. He also provided laptops to meritorious students under the Srinivasa Ramanujan Students Digital Yojna. As many as twenty students were provided laptops by the Chief Minister on the occasion.Director Higher Education Dr. Amarjeet Sharma welcomed the Chief Minister and other dignitaries present on the occasion. He said that eight colleges of the district have been successfully linked with Virtual Class Rooms to facilitate the students of the district. Principal of the College Dr. Rakesh Sharma presented vote of thanks.Jal Shakti Minister Mahender Singh Thakur, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Virender Kanwar, Member of Parliament Ram Swaroop Sharma, MLAs Col. Inder Singh, Inder Singh Gandhi, Vinod Kumar, Rakesh Jamwal, Hira Lal, Jawahar Thakur, and Prakash Rana, General Secretary Child Welfare Council Payal Vaidya, Chairperson Zila Parishad Sarla Thakur, Mandi District  BJP President Ranvir Thakur, Deputy Commissioner Mandi Rugved Thakur, Superintendent of Police Gurdev Sharma, Principal Private Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Singh were present on the occasion among others.
