Deputy Commissioner, O P Bhagat, today chaired a DLRC meeting of the district to review performance of banks in key areas relating to 100 per cent saturation of KCC to PM-KISAN beneficiaries and cases pertaining to Government Sponsored Loan cases of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, DEDS, PVCF and IDSSR as on date.LDM Kathua, Narain Singh, Director SBI RSETI, Aklesh Raina CPO, Uttam Singh, RBI representative, Vikram Dhanda, DDM NABARD Madan Lal, representative of banks, CAO, Vijay Upadhyay, CAHO, Dr Surjeet Kumar, DSHO, Dr Ajay Sudan, PO DUDA, Ramneek Singh, concerned district officers and representatives from DIC, KVIB, JKEDI and Horticulture attended the meeting.DC reviewed progress on cases under New KCC ( Dairy, Poultry, Fisheries and Sheep Husbandry), PMEGP, KVIB, KVIC, DIC, NULM, NRLM Handloom/Handicraft, PMAY with special emphasis on 100 per cent saturation of KCC to PM-KISAN beneficiaries. He expressed dissatisfaction over low performance under the above schemes and emphasized upon all Banks to organize special camps at branch level in coordination with the departments and beneficiaries to clear the pendency of cases on the spot.The Chairman directed the concerned for organizing such camps on weekly basis till March 2020 for achievement of 100 per cent penetration.The Chairman advised the Banks to provide the list of PM-KISAN beneficiaries who have not availed KCC to Agriculture Department at the earliest in order to process their KCC loan applications.He directed the Bank Heads and department Heads to coordinate and provide the correct and updated data to LDM Office as and when required. The Chairman also directed the Banks to refer the un-disbursed loan cases, where there is an issue of Creation of Mortgage or Rent Deed, to DDC office for quick redressal.Earlier, the DDC who is also the Chairman of Task Force Committee sanctioned 53 Self employment cases involving an amount of Rs. 90.45 lakh.The cases placed before the Committee was from Kathua, Basohli, Billawar, Hiranagar, Parole and Lakhanpur towns of Kathua district.
