Jan Manch was an unique programme launched by the State Government for redressal of public grievances nearer to their home. This was stated by the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while presiding over the Jan Manch organised at Saroa in Seraj Vidhan Sabha area of Mandi district today. As many as 80 complaints were received during the pre Jan Manch almost all these were redressed during this Jan Manch.Chief Minister said that during the two years 181 Jan Manch were held in the State in which thousands of public grievances have been redressed for which otherwise they would have to time and again visit government offices for their redressal. He said that this innovative schemes has not only proved a boon for the general public but also reduced footfall in Government offices.Jai Ram Thakur said that 47583 complaints were received in these Jan Manch held in different parts of the State, out of which 43158 complaints have been redressed. He said that apart of Jan Manch' the State Government has launched Chief Minister Helpline 1100. He said that with this Himachal Pradesh has become fifth state of the Country to launch this service. He said that till date 2,55,103 calls were received out of which 60473 were complaints through this helpline. He said that out of these complaints, 53,211 have been resolved. He said that as many as 6,73,961 digital ration cards and 2,08,179 Kissan credit cards were distributed and 1,98,082 people were benefitted under Jan Dhan Yojana in the State through these Jan Manch held in different parts of the State.Chief Minister said that a mega drinking water Supply Scheme worth Rs 37.50 crore was being implemented for the area under the Jal Jeevan Mission for permanently solving the drinking water supply problem of 8 Panchayats of the area. He said that another Scheme worth Rs 115.13 crore under the Jal Jeevan Mission was being implemented for 19 Panchayats of Seraj Vidhan Sabha area. He said that the State Government was giving special focus on development of those areas which had remained neglected in matter of development due to one reason or other.
Jai Ram Thakur said that the Union Government had launched Ayushmann Bharat Yojna for the people of the Country for providing insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh per family. He said that as many as 50 crore people had been covered under this Scheme, which was ensuring that the poor patients were not deprived of specialised health care facilities due to want of money. He said that as many as 22 lakh people of the State has been covered under the Scheme. He said that the State Government launched HimCare Scheme in the State to provide health insurance cover to those families who have not been covered under Ayushmann Bharat Yojna. He said that Sahara Yojna has been launched for providing relief to the families having a member suffering from serious illness. Under this Scheme, Rs 2000 were being provided per month for the better care of the patient.Chief Minister said that providing gas connection to each household of the State under Gharini Suvidha Yojna was a step towards women empowerment. He said that today Himachal Pradesh has become first Smoke Free State of the Country which has connection in every household. He said that all these programmes of the State Government has silenced the Congress leaders who were making much hue and cry over the functioning of the State Government. He said that the people of the State have given befitting reply to the opposition by giving massive mandate to the BJP candidates in Lok Sabha and thereafter in bye elections to State Vidhan Sabha.
Chief Minister also released a documentary film based on development of Gram Panchayat Morah, produced by the District Administration.He also flagged off Jhanjheli-Thunag Mudrika bus on the occasion.Chief Minister provided ‘badhai patra’ to newly born girl child on the occasion. He also provided FD of Rs 12,000 each to the parents of newly born girls under Beti Hai Anmol Scheme. This amount was enhanced from the Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000 by the present State Government. He also performed ‘Ann Prashan’ ceremony of these newly born girls.Chief Minister was also presented a cheque of Rs 11,000 by the H.P. Contract Regular Employees Association towards the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.Transport and Forest Minister Govind Singh Thakur said that Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has started several welfare and development oriented schemes for making Himachal Pradesh a Role Model State of the country. He said that Jan Manch was one of the most innovative and result oriented scheme of the State. He said that this programme was the brainchild of our visionary Chief Minister who himself was from a humble background and understands the developmental aspirations of the common man of the State. Deputy Commissioner Mandi Rugved Thakur conducted the proceedings of the Jan Manch.MLA Nachan Vinod Kumar, Vice Chairman MILKFED Nihal Chand Sharma, Chairman Waqf Board Rajbali, President Mandi district BJP Ranbir Singh, Superintendent of Police Mandi Gurdev Sharma other senior officers of the district were present on the occasion.
