Director Agriculture, Jammu, Inder Jeet convened a meeting of officers at Krishi Bhawan, Talab Tillo, Jammu to review the physical and financial achievements, current expenditure status and progress of various farmers’ welfare schemes.Director Agriculture took component–wise review of progress of various Centrally Sponsored Farmers Welfare Programmes and asked the officers to ensure maximum achievement at the earliest. He stressed to expedite utilization of funds and strict adherence to the formalities while making expenditure.Director also reviewed the progress of Trikuta Mushroom Corridor Project and establishment of permanent procurement mandis in Jammu and Kathua districts for which provision has been kept in CAPEX 2019-20.Director further impressed upon the officers to upload beneficiary related data under different schemes on relevant DBT portals and instructed them for geo-tagging of all executed works.
