A National Lok Adalat was held today at District Court in Kishtwar.The National Lok Adalat was held under the guidance and supervision of Sham Lal Lalhal, Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Principal District & Session Judge) Kishtwar.Out of a total number of 163 cases taken up by two benches in the day-long Lok Adalat at District Court Kishtwar, 143 cases disposed off and an amount of Rs 36600 was awarded as compensation/settlement amount in civil, criminal, labour disputes, electricity and water bills cases, land acquisition, family matters, cheque dishonour and bank recovery case.The National Lok Adalat was conducted by two benches. The first Bench was consisted of Shudhir Kumar Khajuria, Sub-Judge/CJM Kishtwar and Syed Arif Hussain, Advocate while the second bench was consisted of Munish K. Manhas, Munsiff/JMIC Kishtwar and Mohsin Ahmad Dar, advocate Kishtwar.
