Financial Commissioner, Health and Medical Education, Atal Dulloo, Commissioner Secretary PWD (R&B), Khurshid Ahmad Shah and Secretary, Higher Education Department, Talat Parvez Rohella took stock of people's grievances in a public hearing convened here today.During the programme, a large number of deputations and individuals from across Jammu and Kashmir including Poonch, Rajouri, Reasi, Ramban, Anantnag, Budgam and other areas met the Administrative Secretaries and highlighted their issues regarding health, R&B, education and other sectors seeking an early redressal to the same.A deputation from Ward Number 73 Jammu led by Corporator, Yudhveer Singh, demanded construction of Nallah, Primary Health Centre and repair of inner roads of their ward.A deputation from Poonch district demanded repair of 1.5 Km roads in Mendhar and Surankote areas besides raising demand of up gradation of Primary Health Centre at Surankote.A deputation of senior citizens from Sainik Colony demanded establishment of a cremation ground at Sainik Colony while a deputation of daily wagers of Education Department demanded regularization of their services as they are working in the department since the past several years.

A deputation of contractual lecturers of Philosophy and unemployed scholars demanded creation of Philosophy department at University level.A deputation of residents of Narwal area highlighted their issues regarding poor traffic regulation system from Narwal Chowk to Bhathindi and unauthorized parking of heavy vehicles on National Highway from Narwal Chowk to Batra Hospital. Various individuals also highlighted their issues including transfers of employees who have been posted in far flung areas since long times but are adjusted at nearest places of their home town.Financial Commissioner Atal Dulloo said that the government is taking all steps towards strengthening of infrastructural edifice besides ensuring better basic needs to people of Jammu and Kashmir.Khurshid Ahmad Shah assured the people that the government is endeavouring hard to solve all development related issues of every area of the Union Territory. Talat Parvez said that the government is establishing 100 new colleges in Jammu and Kashmir to further enhance education standards in the Union Territory.Administrative Secretaries assured the deputations and individuals that all their issues would be looked into for redressal.Sub District Magistrate Jammu South, Srikant Balasaheb Suse and senior officers of concerned departments were present on the occasion.
