District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh today sent off a group of 70 farmers for training at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Rajouri.Senior Superintendent of Police Yougal Manhas, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sher Singh, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Mohd Ashraf, Chief Agriculture Officer, Janak Raj, Deputy Director Planning Bilal Mir, Tehsildar Rajouri, Sheraz Chouhan and other officers of Agriculture Department were present on the occasion.CAO informed that the farmers will be imparted training regarding organic farming, integrated farming system and vegetable farming besides firsthand knowledge of latest techniques in agriculture sector.While interacting with the farmers, DDC asked them to avail maximum benefits from this training programme. He further said that such training programmes would prove as a boon for the development of the agriculture sector in the district.
