Raj Kumar Katoch today assumed the charge of Director Tourism, Jammu.In his introductory meeting with the officers of the Directorate, the Director impressed upon them to work with utmost zeal and dedication and dispose-off all the pending issues with their respective wings in a time bound manner.He inspected each wing of the Directorate and also interacted with the officials as well and asked them to maintain transparency at all levels for better relationship and healthy work culture.He also stressed upon the need to focus on tapping tourist influx to the state towards unexplored destinations by Rural Tourism, Eco-Tourism and Adventure Tourism.Senior officers along with other staff members were present on the occasion.
