The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara, Anshul Garg today attended a valedictory function at District Lead Bank office Salkoot.Among others, Zonal Head North J&K Bank, Imtiyaz Ahmad; District Lead Bank Manager, Mohammad Afzal and Cluster Head, Bashir Ahmad attended the function.It was informed that a batch of 30 girls have been trained for Tailoring at Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI).On the occasion, the DDC presented training certificates to 30 girl trainees on the completion of their training. Earlier, the DDC convened a meeting of concerned officers to review implementation of Pradhan Mantri Kissan Mandan Yojna(PMKMY).Chief Agriculture Officer Kupwara, Muzaffar Ahmad Hurrah, zonal Agriculture officers, District Manager CSC and other concerned attended the meeting.It was informed that 77000 beneficiaries were identified to be covered under PMKMY scheme and 3000 have been enrolled while 2410 beneficiary cards have been generated.The DDC asked the officers to rope in Panchayat functionaries especially Sarpanchs in the enrolment process.
