District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Hashmat Ali Khan today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the implementation of “Jal Jeevan Mission” in the district.During the meeting threadbare discussions were held on various issues including screening of unconnected households at Block, identification of completed and ongoing Water Supply Schemes (WSS) which can be taken up on priority for providing Functional Household Tapped Connection (FHTC) by retrofitting under New schemes.The DDC was informed that against target of 12883 FHTC up to this February 8311 has been achieved.He directed the concerned that target of registering unconnected House hold connections in all seven blocks of the district should be achieved by March-2020.The DDC directed the executing department to conduct house to house survey of the unconnected households in close contact with the BDC Chairpersons, so that no one is left out under the scheme.Among others the meeting was attended by ADDC Ganderbal, Executive Engineer PHE, CPO Ganderbal and other concerned.
