District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode today interacted with Block Development Council Chairmen to listen the issues pertaining to their respective areas besides to acquaint the Chairmen with their role and responsibilities at DC Office complex.ADC Kishori Lal Sharma, CPO Parshotam Kumar, SP Operations R P Singh, BDC Chairmen, ACR Kaiser Ahmed Bhawani, AD Planning RDD, besides officials of district administration attended the meeting.BDC Chairmen highlighted issues related to payment of material liability under MGNREGA, reduction in unscheduled cuts, repairing of old electric wires, erection of poles, augmentation of grid stations, inspection/verification of completed works of PHE department, regular awareness camps by Horticulture Department, distribution of machinery on subsidised rates, SRTC bus facility, reduction in flat rates of PDD, restoration of damaged roads, staff strength in PHC'S and educational institutions, revenue matters, early execution of PHE works, payment of pending PMAY installments and works completed under B2V and construction of Circular Road and Bus Stand at Thathri.DDC assured them that all their issues will be addressed in a phased manner.DDC issued direction to the Chief Education Officer, Doda to post teachers in the schools where the ratio of teachers is less in comparison to the students besides directed CMO Doda to immediately deploy doctors and para medical staff at PHC Kastigarh.Replying to the issue of shortage of water, DDC said that the matter will be resolved under Jal Jeevan Mission, besides informed that 6 blocks are going to be covered under first phase and rest of the blocks would be covered in next phase under this scheme.He also directed the ADC Doda to immediately deploy Girdawars and OQ's to complete the quality check and binding of scanned revenue record. He asked CPO Doda to send communication to Transport authorities regarding requirement of SRTC buses with immediate effect.
