District Development Commissioner Dr. Piyush Singla today convened a meeting of officers and field functionaries of Rural Development Department and Bankers to review the physical and financial progress made under MGNREGA and 14th Finance Commission registered in the district.Threadbare discussions were held on various issues like status of MGNREGA, PMAY, Details of Aadhar seeding (ABP conversion), Details of complete/ongoing works (FY 2018-19, FY 2019-20), Person days generated (FY 2019-20), Physical /Financial status of works executed under 14th FC, Labour budget for FY 2020-21 & its uploading status, Status of clearing the liabilities under MGNREGA, Issuance of new job cards etc.ACD Mushtaq Choudhary gave a brief presentation about the financial and physical achievements made under MGNREGA and 14th FC by the department in the District. BDOs informed the meeting about the status of works taken up in their respective blocks.DDC directed the BDOs and Engineers of REW to accelerate the pace of work in their respective areas by adopting innovative methods for effective implementation of schemes and involve PRIs and people in the developmental process.He impressed upon the officers to optimally achieve the set targets during the current financial year and also stressed on close monitoring of ongoing works to ensure quality and adherence to timelines.DDC also reviewed the progress of Aadhar seeding and asked the Bankers to ensure all Aadhar seeding are completed immediately.DDC stressed that strict action would be taken against the poor performers and advised the staff to work hard and achieve the targets set for their blocks.Among others, Additional District Development Commissioner, Ashok Kumar, CPO, Rajeev Bhushan, ACD, Mushtaq Choudhary, ACR, Viqar Giri, DIO, Er. Sajad Bashir Somberia, all BDOs, AD Planning, Anil Sharma, AEEs, AEs, and MIS Operators were present in the meeting.
