In order to take first hand appraisal of the public grievances, District Development Commissioner, Pulwama Dr. Raghav Langar today conducted a Public Darbar at Aripal Tral.During the Darbar, people of the area apprised DDC about various issues, demanding uninterrupted supply of electricity, adequate drinking water supply, better health and education facilities, besides macadamization of roads and irrigation facilities.A delegation of Aripal demanded establishment of play ground, uninterrupted supply of electricity, receiving station, macdamization of road from Aripal to Lam, adequate staff for PHC and setting up of ITI in the area.Residents of Wagad demanded improvement of HT, LT network, electricity poles and establishment of animal & sheep husbandry unit.Similarly, delegations from Gutroo ,Lurgam and Naristan demanded upgradation of PHC , up- gradation of Middle School , firewood and power and water supply.The DDC assured people that all their genuine grievances would be addressed on priority. He said that the persistent efforts were afoot to accelerate the pace of development across the district to provide all basic facilities to the people especially in far flung areas.Later, the DDC distributed baby-kits among mothers of newly born girl child under BBBP scheme.Among others, the Public Darbar was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Tral, Shabir Ahmad Raina, Tehsildar, Executive Engineers of PDD,PHE, R&B, besides other officers of the district.
