The District Development Commissioner Anantnag, Khalid Jahangir today launched Back to Village Portal in presence of ADDC, ACD, Technical Director NIC Anantnag, JD Planning, Engineers, district officers and media persons.The Portal has been designed by NIC Anantnag under the guidance of Technical Director NIC, Jan Mubarak.The portal will provide all the information with regard to the B2V with photographs including demands raised, demands examined, feasibility, reports submitted to higher authorities, projects taken up for completion, cost, progress and status of the under execution works.The DDC directed the concerned officers to start uploading of the data with regard to the B2V programme at an earliest so that the progress of the works is monitored regularly.The concerned officers of various departments were provided separate Username and Password to upload the data regularly, which would be monitored by the DDC Anantnag.It was given out that the portal will provide information with regard to the B2V to general public also, to ensure the transparency.The DDC on the occasion said that Anantnag has become the first district of the UT to launch B2V Portal for monitoring the status of the demands raised during B2V with helpline.
