District Development Commissioner (DDC), Dr Raghav Langer today convened a meeting of district officers of various departments to review the sector wise progress on languishing projects in the district.On the occasion, heads of various departments informed the meeting about the status of languishing projects taken under various sectors.The meeting was informed that under R&B, PHE, School Education, Health, Irrigation, Urban Local bodies, Power, Industries, Revenue, Estates, Sports and Higher Education sector, 104 projects were approved under languishing projects out of which 78 projects are under execution while 13 projects have been completed.On the occasion, DDC asked the officers to reinforce their efforts to complete all the languishing projects on priority.The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioners of Pulwama & Tral, Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Development, Assistant Commissioner Revenue and heads of various departments.
