The District Development Commissioner, Kupwara, Anshul Garg convened a meeting of engineers of various executing departments to review the status approved projects, here today.The meeting was attended by Superintending Engineers of R&B Kupwara, Hydraulic Circle Handwara and PMGSY Kupwara, General Manager DIC Kupwara, Deputy General Managers of JKPCC Kupwara and Housing Board Kupwara, Executive Engineers of STD Kupwara, R&B Division Kupwara, Handwara, SSD Tangdar, District Manager SICOP and other concerned.The meeting reviewed 29 projects under various schemes including Languishing Projects, BADP and CAPEX. The meeting was informed that out of 29 projects 10 are ready for inauguration while Detailed Project Report (DPR) and other formalities for remaining 19 projects is in process and foundation stone of these projects would be laid soon.The DDC directed the concerned executing agencies to speed up the pace of work on these projects so that foundation stone is laid by 15th February.
